The business giant Mukesh Ambani has taken a huge step towards bringing in Digital India. The event held earlier this month has introduced the nation to new plans coming from Reliance. On 1st September, Ambani unveiled “datagiri” (dominance via data services). It is teamed with certain marketing tactics and the interesting part of the announcement is that all the services are dedicated to our respected Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s Digital India Dream. In his long speech of 45 minutes, he has mentioned about the notable changes that can be seen on the Jio Network.
Jio will not charge anything to the denizens of India for the voice calls or messages from now onwards. Yes, you have read it right. No one has to pay for any call or text by using Jio network within India. No other telecom service provider has ever offered such exclusive services. Reliance also revealed that the latest 4G LTE smartphones can be obtained at just Rs. 2999 while the Wi-Fi router which is named as the Jio-Fi will be available at Rs.1999. Reliance is making the whole network more user-friendly. If you are a student, feel blessed cause all the students are going to receive 25% more data on their data pack recharges.

Almost everyone was shocked when Mukesh Ambani revealed the 4G tariffs. In this era when you need to spend hundreds for getting your mobile recharge done, Reliance is offering 1 GB for a mere 50 rupees. While other companies charge several amounts from the customers for having access to 4G, Reliance had made it possible at just Rs.50. You will be charged nothing extra for any roaming call as well.
It was claimed that one million Wi-Fi spots will be set-up all over the country probably by the middle of next year. It also promised that the customers can have free access to video streaming and data usage from 5th September to 31st December of 2016. An estimated budget of US$ 14 million has been planned for setting up the Reliance Jio Ecosystem. We all are hoping to get the best facilities from this amazing Digital Plan as we support the generation of digitalisation.
