
Android 7.1 (Nougat) , the new version of Android operating system will consists of features like the built in customer service, Smart Storage, unlimited and free backup of full-res photos and videos and many more. To the dismay of customers, the new OS will lack some of the Pixel smartphones’ best features. It was confirmed by Google that the changes are accurate.
To transfer the data from iPhone to Android a quick switch adapter is required. This acts as hardware in the shape of adapter cable. Hence, the Pixel phone has to be be shipped with the adapter.
The new phone comes with Pixel sports, a 12.3 –megapixel rear camera that helps to shoot 4K video and also allows taking many photos in succession with special feature like “Smartburst”. Plus, the Pixel’s camera app is attached with the new hardware.
Some of the sensors and connectivity (i.e Wi-Fi, cellular and GPS) are integrated with Sensor Hub processor in Pixel features.
For photo enthusiasts Pixel smartphone will be provided with free unlimited video and photo backup service through Google Photos. Some consider it as a marketing strategy but it is an advantage for the Pixel customers as iCloud in iPhone comes with additional storage costs.
Missing features are really surprising and unexpected.
Google Assistant, the smart virtual helper will be missed in notable Android 7.1. The alternative to Amazon’s Alexa and Apple’s Siri is Google Assistant which is more upgraded and smarter than Google Now. Currently Google Now is available in today’s Android devices and in the standalone Google app.
Google now provides a stiff competition to its alternatives and is more powerful. One can talk with Google Now by using natural languages and it also alerts you by displaying the flight time, stock information, weather conditions and others. Moreover, it helps in searching hotels and restaurants.

Pixel smartphones comes with specifications like navigation bar icons which paves the way for SysUI accent color theme, the new wallpaper picker and with calendar icon.
Google has not yet given confirmation when Android 7.1 will be shipped for consumers. Android 7.1 will be introduced later this month as a Developer Preview only.
